Album concept manuscript, and Golden Melody Awards Best Album trophy
Duplicity was released in October 1997. It was Chang’s first album after he started to produce for other artists. Each track was fully of ideas and inspirations he accumulated. Among jazz, soul, and Bossa Nova, it portrayed different facets of love. The album also included elements from literary works, such as “The Little Prince” and “The Name of the Rose”. With such a comprehensive concept and execution, it was a highlight in Chang’s career, and awarded Best Album at Golden Melody Awards.
