Chang always struggled between commercial market and artistic orientation. Every step along his career posed new challenges and tests. An interesting phenomenon emerged in his discography. Commercial albums and conceptual albums, over the years, were released in intervals, and Chang attempted to find the balance in these swings. After he joined Forward Music, he released these two EPs on display. The red one was more commercial, while the white one was more personal. Between these tracks, fans could relate more easily to his struggles.
