As a producer, Chang demonstrated gift and capabilities in pop music. He identified and supported A-Mei to become a bestselling superstar in Mandarin pop. Chang Yu-sheng composed, wrote, and produced several songs for A-Mei, including “Sisters” and “Water Blue Tear” in the first album “Sisters” , as well as “As Soon As I Think of You”, “Bad Boy”, and “Lonely Tequila” in the second album “Bad Boy”. Both albums were sold for over one million copies, and the achievement elevated Chang as a top producer with a proven record.
