Playbill, autographed album, and manuscript for Kiss Me Nana
In 1997, theater director Liang Chi-ming invited Chang and to be music director for “Kiss Me Nana”. Along with Koji Sakurai, they created the first rock musical in Taiwan. They learned from musicals abroad, such as “Rent”. Besides composing all music in the play, he also performed live with Huang Chung-yueh and other musicians in the premiere version. The play successfully merged music and theater. It was praised as ”the most fascinating musical in National Theater of the decade.”
