Released in 1937 under Nitto Records, “Rural Melody” was produced by Chen Jyun-yu and performed by Chhun-chhun-bi (Cying-chun-mei). The song was issued in the style of “new folk ballads,” drawing inspiration from local life and rural culture. Lyrics were written by Chen Da-ru, with music composed by Su Tung.
