Original 78 RPM Record of “Camellia Lady”

Era：1939 Exhibition loan unit：Mr. Lin Tai-wei - Released in 1939, “Camellia Lady” features lyrics by Chen Da-ru and music composed by the Victor Records Literary and Artistic Department. The song was performed as a trio by Wang-shi, Ying-ying, and Hsiu-luan. According to Ying-ying, the three singers recorded the song in 1938 at Victor’s temporary studio in Taipei. The vocalists and orchestra performed simultaneously, with sound captured directly onto a wax master disc. The disc was then transported to Japan for pressing, resulting in the final record.
