Manuscript of "Civilized Woman"

Era:1933 Exhibition loan unit:Ms. Huang Su-Chin - Written and released in 1933, “The Dance Age” was performed by Chun-chun. The lyrics were written by Chen Jyun-yu, then head of the Literary and Artistic Department at Taiwan Columbia, with music composed by Deng Yu-hsien. The song was originally titled “The Civilized Woman” in its manuscript version and was renamed for release. Selling between 10,000 and 20,000 copies, the song was a commercial success and became a key work representing women’s desire to break free from traditional social constraints.
