Introduction
This three-piece tableware set of knife, fork, and spoon, combined with the handle made of stones from various places in Taiwan by the stone artist Qing-Fu, Xu and the metal parts by Jian-You, Li, a professor from the Yangming Jiaotong University Art Institute by using the metal 3D printing technology. The work itself also contains the beauty of Taiwan’s rich and diverse geological materials. It highlights the advantages of advanced technology of the flexibility in modeling. The metal printed part is an organic and winding structure that arises from the stone handle and ultimately forms the front of the food vessel. The front end of the tableware is formed, symbolizing the land that feeds all beings, and reminding people to stay content.
