Beyond the auction success symbolised by the "Ballerina Butterfly Brooch," the brand continued to be invited to top-tier art fairs during this period, achieving numerous accolades and establishing many remarkable milestones.
In 2021, the " Star Sapphire Floral Brooch" from the Black Label Masterpiece was unanimously recognised by the judging panel at Masterpiece London and was awarded the "Masterpiece Award – Precious Stones Category." It was the only high jewellery piece to win and marked the third consecutive time CINDY CHAO The Art Jewel had been awarded at the fair since being invited to exhibit in 2018.
Part of the brand’s renowned Tango in the Garden Collection, Cindy Chao used a playful and personified approach to depict a delicate flower, with the brooch appearing like a whimsical fairy in flight. The " Star Sapphire Floral Brooch " features a vivid and vibrant colour palette, with three-dimensional petals encircling a 49-carat star sapphire. This rare Sri Lankan star sapphire is unheated, with an evenly rich colour that reflects a distinct six-rayed star under direct light – a highly uncommon phenomenon. Philip Hewat-Jaboor, the fair's chairman, praised the brooch: "This piece showcases astonishing sculptural qualities, both in its artistic creativity and technical execution – it is a perfect work of art."
