Original 78 RPM Record of “The Peach Girl”

Era:1932 Exhibition loan unit:Mr. Lin Tai-wei - "The Peach Girl" was originally a theme song created to promote the silent film starring Ruan Lingyu. The song quickly became widely popular across Taiwan. Taiwan Columbia Records released it as a commercial record in 1932, performed by Chun-chun. It became the first song in Taiwan to achieve true popular success. The lyrics were written by Zhan Tian-ma and the music composed by Wang Yun-feng, both of whom were active as benshi (silent film narrators).
