Released in 1938 by Nitto Records and performed by Chun-chun, “Comfort Bag” was recorded after Chun-chun moved from Taiwan Columbia to Nitto. The song was categorized as a “patriotic popular song.”A “comfort bag” referred to a care package prepared by a wife and sent to her husband on the battlefield, containing daily necessities and heartfelt wishes. The lyrics were written by Li Lin-ciou, with music composed by Deng Yu-hsien.
