It’s specialty lies in the red and black karaori on the bottom of the sleeves and the bottom hem. It is used to ward off evil spirits so that the hunting could go well. The rattan hat protects the head, the neck ornaments show that this is a successful warrior. The ramie thread represents the hair of the victim. The cloak can keep the hunters warm when out hunting. With the bag and knife, only the bravest men could wear this outfit. Boys used to hunt when they turn 18 and become a real warrior only if they succeed. Now that they don’t hunt anymore, this outfit should be named as the “Seediq Bravery Suit.
