In his career, Chang stood between commercial market and artistic values. Each transition led to new challenges. It was always a tug of war between reality and ideal in his albums. After joining Forward Music, he discovered A-Mei, became a best selling producer, and led to a more balanced career path.
These two musicians worked closely with Chang. From UFO Group to Forward Music, producer Chen Fu-ming discovered many of his talents. Wang Hsin-lien brought Chang to America to record “Take Me to the Moon” album. They witnessed his evolution and growth.
