經國先生於民國 58 年遷入「七海寓所」，直到民國 77 年過世，共住了 19 年，蔣方良女士則繼續居住至民國 93 年過世。這是經國先生及家人在臺灣居住最久的住所，也是經國先生在臺灣唯一保存下來的故居。

七海寓所為經國先生夫婦的生活空間，內部陳設簡單，體現經國先生樸實無華與親和平易的風範。它作為經國先生擔任國防部長、行政院長至總統期間居住的官邸，此處也是他與政府官員討論國家重大決策的地方，深具歷史意義。

經國七海文化園區

置於玄關角落的龍形木雕擺飾，為經國先生弟弟蔣緯國先生贈方良女士的壽禮，方良女士與蔣緯國先生同年，皆為民國5年出生，生肖屬龍，因此在寓所內龍形的擺飾多是方良女士收到的禮物。
This decorative dragon wood sculpture was a birthday gift to Faina from Chiang Ching-kuo’s younger brother Wei-kuo. Faina and Wei-kuo were both born in 1916, a Year of the Dragon, which is why most of the objects with a dragon motif in the residence were gifts to Faina.
