當代工藝青年的身份角色因著創作層面及自我設定層面的移動，而有著多面向的轉換。以創作層面而言，隨著科技技術、數位軟體及材質開發的推進，當代工藝青年時而運用數位運算、AI協力及新型態素材導入其創作製程，在技術及美學表現上開拓邊界；他們親身投入、樂於實驗創新，具有自造者（maker）的特質。
與此同時，在造物之外，當代工藝青年對於自我角色及形象的設定，也可以被視為一種工藝創作者自我形塑及創造的狀態；當代工藝青年與社會溝通的介面，不僅限於器物本身，而更廣及於其於真實生活、品牌運營及社群平臺上，所展現出的多面向角色及個人特質。本展區亦嘗試透過其不同身份及角色所對應的創作，展現出工藝青年的反身性思考、以及在自我角色轉換之間，藉由工藝創作所傳達出的個人化特質。

Self-Made Glory
The identity and role of contemporary young artisans continuously evolve, shaped by the interaction between their creative processes and self-perception. From a creative perspective, as technology advances and new materials, digital software, and AI collaborations emerge, young artisans are incorporating these innovations into their work, expanding the boundaries of both technical skill and artistic expression. They are hands-on, experimental, and embody the qualities of makers.
At the same time, beyond their creations, the way they define and present themselves is a dynamic process of self-shaping. Their connection to society extends beyond their work to include the diverse roles and personal traits they showcase in everyday life, brand management, and on social media platforms. This exhibition aims to highlight, through the many roles and identities they embody, the reflective thinking of young artisans and the unique characteristics expressed through their craft as they navigate and redefine their multiple selves.
