Released in 1935, Mrs. Jan Files a Petition with the Emperor is a long-form Taiwanese opera written by Chen Yu-an, starring Ching-hsiang along with co-performers Pi-yun, Hsueh-mei, and Yung-chi.

This rare boxed set is divided into two parts (Part 1 and Part 2), each housed in a decorative cardboard slipcase featuring full-color illustrations. The release includes 12 records, each in a custom Lihjia-branded sleeve, along with matching lyric cards—making it one of the most complete and deluxe opera record sets of its time.
