經國先生曾於民國55年與民國58年以國防部長身分訪問韓國，此件大型屏風為民國58年訪韓時，韓國總理丁一權所贈，共裱有八面花鳥刺繡，並以刺繡題有「蔣部長經國兄存念 丁一權敬贈 西紀一九六九年貳月貳拾五日」。
Chiang Ching-kuo visited South Korea in 1966 and 1969 when he was Minister of Defense. This large screen was a gift from Prime Minister of South Korea Chung Il-kwon in 1969. It includes eight embroidered images of birds and flowers and has an embroidered inscription with the names of the recipient and sender, and the date.
