Introduction : My ideology behind this artwork is about women’s rights, some women are harassed in the society and told that they can only wear skirts and not suits. The collar symbolizes more male-style clothing. The collar symbolizes that a lot of women are not allowed to give their opinions and instead are “collared”(controlled). In the painting, the panther is seen glaring at the figure in the portrait next to it. The portrait shows that humans have an animal side. Overall, the panther is fighting for human rights.
