The sunshine road; I run on the road. The sunshine road; I run on the sunshine road. Oh, Kapa, Kapa, let’s hit the road. This rainy season will not come again. “Willpower is an amazing thing. Sometimes, you only need to hold on a little longer, and things might turn out differently. All you need is resolution.”—Li Tai-Hsiang was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at the age of forty-seven, and for twenty-six years, he suffered from the illness, which made him realize that “love” was the only source of artistic creation. To him, only the music rooted in love could reach the depth of people’s hearts. Even though his body became increasingly frail, his passion for art never diminished because he could find strength and inspiration in the world of music. His endless passion for music was infectious to those around him and encouraged countless followers. Facing bravely the test of sickness, Li was never defeated. With resilience and perseverance, he proved that the power of art could transcend the frailty of life and shine on every step of our lives.
