The lion head features a slightly rounded mouth and a square shape, symbolizing the concept of "the sky is round and the earth is square, and the lion can consume all things from all directions." This is also known as the "square-mouthed lion." The creation process begins with sculpting a clay mold, followed by fabric wrapping, cutting wooden boards to form the lion's handle and chin, and painting and setting the shape. Finally, the lion's eyebrows and whiskers are added for decoration. This meticulous process ensures the lion head's durability and longevity.
