七海寓所為興建於民國39至49年之間的新式鋼筋混凝土建築，原本作為中華民國海軍招待美國訪客的場所，在大廳左側的起居室靠牆砌有一座壁爐，這也是寓所西式室內裝修的特點。
The Chi-Hai Residence, a new-style steel reinforced concrete structure built between 1950 and 1960, was originally a guesthouse for American guests of the ROC Navy.
