US President Lyndon B. Johnson gave Chiang Ching-kuo the book The Professional: Lyndon B. Johnson as a gift during their meeting on September 23, 1965 when Chiang Ching-Kuo visited the US for the third time. President Johnson wrote on the title page: “For General Chiang Ching-kuo, With warm regards, Lyndon B. Johnson.
