Christopher Kelsall

I've always been interested in 3D printing ceramics—especially Wind Lion Gods. During my residency, I wanted to start from something local. I noticed how temples are a common and striking presence in both Kaohsiung and Tainan. C-Cube's C-Slurry, a cement-free circular material that resembles stone, made the idea of a 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘰𝘯 feel especially fitting. What surprised me during the printing process was how the final texture turned out: unlike the sliced model, the printed surface revealed a layered, stone-like quality that brought unexpected depth to the piece.
