這件作品融合阿美族文化與現代雕刻風格，採用多色拼板設計，並標示台灣常用國產木材，讓民眾了解本土素材。作品呈現阿美族先人堅韌的精神，畫面中的公主遙望祖先的到來，想像他們在風雨中乘竹筏勇敢前行，最終成功登陸，象徵對生命與祖靈的感恩，以及不屈不撓的勇氣。海洋元素作為背景，展現了族人面對困難時的堅毅。
This artwork consists of Amis culture and modern sculpture styles, using multicolor panel design and labeled common wood material in Taiwan to make people understand the local materials. The work shows the tenacity of the ancestors of the Amis. The princess in the picture looks at the arrival of her ancestors in the distance, imagining them bravely moving forward on a bamboo raft in the wind and rain, and finally landing successfully, symbolizing gratitude to life and ancestors, as well as indomitable courage. The marine elements serve as the background, showing the perseverance of the tribesmen in the face of difficulties.
