包容系列的作品，是在表現剛與柔相互調合的創作思考。「剛」的部分是指陶器形狀，或材質物理性的堅硬及穩定性；「柔」的部分指的是釉(低溫釉土)在高溫融熔狀態，受地心引力作用下流動的樣貌(當然是冷卻後所觀看的)。在這樣的概念下，去操作「釉」的流動範圍、流速以及其「出軌」。而作品成功的前提是對這「釉」有清楚的認識，知道其合適的溫域，以致能夠預知在融熔狀態下移動多遠、立面與斜面的流速的不同等等。釉彩的網點像標竿(或記號)，而整個釉面像是標竿移動的距離與流速軌跡的紀錄表格。這紀錄表格竟成了器物的裝飾。〈包容49〉這件作品，平面部分，因受地心引力不明顯，網點看似靜止，稜線斜面便明顯擺盪，而立面宛如瀑布傾瀉溢流(出軌)。
The series of Comprehensive show the creative thinking how to balance strength and softness. The part of strength is the shape of clay, or the hardness and stability of the material physically. The part of softness indicates to the glaze which is melting in high temperature. The appearance of flow under the influence of gravity (observed after cooling, of course). With the understanding of this concept, we can operate the range and speed of the flow, and guide the glaze out of the regular route. In this piece of work "Comprehensive 49", the plane part is not obviously affected by gravity, so the dots appear to be still, while the ridges and slopes are obviously swinging, while the facade is like a waterfall overflowing (out of the regular route).
