方良女士出生地在白俄羅斯奧爾沙，民國24年與同在俄羅斯烏拉爾機器工廠工作認識的經國先生結婚，民國26年回到中國定居，自此從未返鄉。民國81年6月12日方良女士在七海寓所接見來自白俄羅斯共和國首都明斯克市長吉拉席門柯，這是方良女士來台灣後首度和家鄉訪客見面。當時吉拉席門柯市長帶來一個白俄羅斯黑麵包、一面白俄羅斯國旗和一個著俄羅斯服飾的娃娃送給方良女士。目前國旗和娃娃都還擺放在二樓客廳的櫥櫃上。
Faina was born in Orsha, Belarus. In 1935 she married Ching-kuo, who she met at a machinery factory in the Ural area of Russia. After leaving the USSR with Ching-kuo in 1937, Faina never again returned to her homeland. On June 12, 1992 Faina received a visit from Alexander Gerasimenko, mayor of the Belarus capital of Minsk, at the Chi-Hi Residence. This was her first contact with visitors from her homeland since coming to Taiwan. The mayor gave Faina Belarusian black bread, a Belarusian flag, and a doll in traditional Russian dress. The flag and the doll are currently displayed in a cabinet in the second-floor living room.
