祥獅戲球 Auspicious Lion Playing with a Ball

中心典藏品 NTCRI Collection 鐵線、絲布、蕾絲邊 Iron Wire, Silk Fabric, Lace Edging / L100×W65×H43 相傳漢武帝下詔每逢正月十五放燈,以避火神,但賞燈已是目前元宵節的主要活動,其實還可追溯自上古人類對火的崇拜;台灣更傳燈會時,婦女故意在燈下穿梭,表示「添丁」。此建立用透光布料製成,表現絢麗美感,並寓意吉祥。 It is said that Emperor Wu of Han decreed lantern lighting on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month to appease the fire god. However, lantern appreciation has since then become the main activity of the Lantern Festival, with its origins tracing back to ancient human fire worship. In Taiwan, there is also a tradition where women deliberately walk under lanterns during the festival, symbolizing the wish for fertility and prosperity. This piece is made of translucent fabric, showcasing dazzling beauty while embodying auspicious blessings.
