國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心（以下簡稱本中心）隸屬於文化部，致力於工藝文化推廣與工藝產業扶植， 業務職掌包含工藝研創、人才培育、工藝檢測修復、研究出版與展覽、工藝典藏加值應用、地方工藝扶植、工藝美學教育推廣、工藝產業輔導、國際交流合作等工作。
工藝源自生活，以人為本。基礎於色彩心理學中綠色的正面象徵，本中心提出「綠工藝」概念，涵容工藝的多元價值， 歸納出內涵面與實踐面兩大核心精神理念：內涵面之工藝精神理念包含自然、循環、平衡、寬容、生命力；實踐面則包含頂真精神、工作倫理、愉悅勞動與生活美學。
本於前述綠工藝精神理念，本中心為推動臺灣工藝文化發展與交流之平臺，施政關照之對象除了包括工藝產業生態系中所有參與者， 亦期許藉由工藝介入社會，促進公民參與，以關照生活在臺灣這塊土地上的所有人民，實踐Craft for All之理念，達成健全臺灣工藝生態系與臺灣工藝價值的社會實踐之雙重目標。

西屹設計有限公司成立於1996年，總部位於臺灣臺南市，是一家專業的產品開發公司，致力於融合深厚的人文思考與創新設計。
企業精神以「對話」為核心，透過對話讓不同世代、製造者與消費者、使用者與設計者之間建立共鳴，形塑共同的記憶、價值觀與生活哲學。這種交流延伸出獨特的人文特質，並透過設計轉化為貼近人心、符合使用者需求的作品。
創辦人王士俊老師在公司成立當年，即榮獲世界傑出工業設計競賽金牌獎（1996 IDEA AWARD），成為全球首位獲此殊榮的華人設計師。他的創作涵蓋設計、工藝與藝術，並認為所有創作皆源自人文涵養與藝術思維，其哲學與本質相通，無須受限於特定領域。

程湘如老師，投入設計文創領域30多年，是最早深入偏鄉及協助農會轉型、進行輔導、培訓的身體力行者，在業界被稱為文創教主。並長期積極為台灣傳統產業尋找出路，曾參與陶瓷、玻璃、竹藝、木雕、漆器、金屬、織染等產業轉型及輔導顧問，並與工藝產業合作開發60項以上產品，已為傳統產業建立30個品牌，自行開發的文創商品約500個品項，熟悉傳統到現代的產業發展歷程。近年著力文藝策展、頂層規劃開發、傳統產業轉型輔導、品牌診斷輔導，文創教育培訓及顧問等工作。其地方創生經驗豐富，針對挖掘傳統產業特色，為其量身打造獨特形象之翻轉競爭力，並深耕推動生活美學的經驗，符合本次計劃目標「用即是美」的生活美學思維，並能指導運用在地特色工藝形塑展覽特色，巧妙呈現工藝的人文地景精神。

策展顧問

黃世輝教授，社區總體營造專論，文化產業專論。社區總體營造專論是他的核心領域之一，近期聚焦在地方工藝的調查研究，以及透過工藝物件討論其價值觀、社會網絡。這些努力是試圖建立工藝社造的理論。另一個核心領域是文化產業，近期聚焦在以地方工藝的文化生態為基礎，提出創意設計，藉由設計引導地方工藝的發展。符合這次計劃目標「工藝．公益．公意」及具有工藝專業，能以中心七十年為基礎爬梳臺灣工藝發展脈絡，及未來發展方向。

雲林科技大學 黃世輝教授

2022年由國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心輔導、來自全國多元領域之工藝美術協會團體、國家工藝成就獎得主及文化部登錄人間國寶等頂尖工藝大師共同發起成立，並邀集全國工藝美術文化界佼佼者，攜手促進臺灣工藝的繁榮和發展，更禮聘多位產官學界重量級顧問提供協助與諮詢，期盼結合工藝產業與觀光旅遊、學術研究、社福關懷及其他異業合作等產業生態，進而跨域協力並共創新時代之臺灣工藝發展脈絡。

Fifth Stop of the Craft Pilgrimage in Tainan - With a Distinctive Style

臺灣第一代西畫家顏水龍1937年開始長達五個多月的全台火車環島行，進行臺灣工藝產業的田野調查，這一趟環臺旅程影響著顏水龍由美術創作擴及工藝領域的轉向。「國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心」前身為顏水龍於1954年7月促成設立的「南投縣工藝研究班」，成就許多臺灣重要的第一代工藝家，模塑臺灣的工藝發展。
As Taiwan's first-generation artist in Western-style painting, Master Shui-Long Yen, embarked on a train trip around Taiwan for more than five months to conduct field research in craft industry in 1937. This journey prompted Master Yen’s drift away from art creation to the field of crafts. National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute was formerly known as Nantou County Craft Research Training Program founded by Shui-Long Yen in July 1954. It has since influenced many prominent first-generation craft artists in Taiwan and shaped the course of Taiwan's crafts history and industry.

以「大樹」串起工藝生態發展的脈絡，國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心是臺灣工藝發展的源頭，經由「風」的傳遞，將工藝種子散播到各地，歷經70年的紥根茁壯，在各地皆已大樹成林，展現不同水土在工藝表述上的獨特風貌。
Using the image of "big tree" to symbolize the evolution and development of craft ecology, National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute is the origin of Taiwan's craft development. Through the “wind” the seeds of crafts have been spread all over the country, and taken root after 70 years. Today the craft has taken various forms and evolved into many diverse styles throughout the island.

我們藉由「工藝遶境」展覽，展開六個地區的跨域「巡」禮，巡字左邊走字，代表工藝遶境的行動，中央川字代表河界、也就是地域的界線，呼應工藝遶境是以山川地區形成的自然環境生態區域，展現出在地工藝與人創作形成的獨特面貌，分別為我們帶來生命美好的價值與啟發，實踐「活工藝 工藝活」的相生循環。
By launching the “Craft Pilgrimage,” we begin a cross-regional “tour” in six areas. The character of “tour” in Mandarin includes “walk” on the left-hand side, and “river” in the middle, which refers to as the boundary of respective regions and perfectly echoes that the “Craft Pilgrimage” is nurtured by mountains and rivers, natural environment and ecological areas. It shows that the unique appearance formed by local crafts and creative artworks bring us the value and inspiration of beautiful life, creating a productive cycle of "living crafts and crafts in living.”

臺南歷史悠長，曾是大航海時代的重要貿易中心。為祈求生計平安，當時的商賈仕紳紛紛興建廟宇作為精神寄託。臺南的古蹟、供奉各種神明的廟宇以及各式傳統建築，充分展現古城深厚的歷史文化底蘊與人情味。民間信仰與廟宇工藝緊密結合，包括粧佛、神明帽衣、彩繪、刺繡、剪粘、木作、鑿花等，透過虔誠敬神的信念淬煉出卓越的工藝技藝，成為臺南文化神性的重要代表作。
Tainan has a long history which was a center as important business area of age of discovery. To pray for peace and stability in livelihood, merchants and gentry tended to build the temples to have places for spiritual comforting. Tainan’s historic sites, temples dedicated to various gods, and various traditional buildings fully demonstrate the ancient city’s profound historical and cultural heritage and human touch. Folk beliefs are closely integrated with temple craftsmanship, including making Buddha statues, deity hats and clothes, painting, embroidery, cutting and gluing, woodworking, carving flowers, etc. Excellent craftsmanship is developed through devout faith, and it has become an important representative work of Tainan's cultural divinity.

CT150是顏水龍於1937年展開全台火車環島之旅時所乘坐的蒸氣火車，這段長達五個多月的旅程象徵著他對台灣工藝美術發展的深入探索。
今年適逢工藝中心成立70週年，特別委託謝嘉亨老師再創「工藝列車」，以火車頭象徵自1954年以來，工藝中心作為台灣工藝發展的堅實基石，帶領工藝技藝在各地傳承發揚、開枝散葉。
2024年工藝遶境元年，工藝列車將巡迴六個城市，每節車廂代表一座城市，象徵著各地工藝力量的匯聚，共同與火車頭前行，凝聚出強大的動能。
這列陶瓷蒸氣火車不僅是一段旅程，更是台灣工藝傳承與未來創新的精神象徵。

CT150 was the steam train that Shui-Long Yen took when he embarked on a train journey around Taiwan in 1937. This journey which took more than five months symbolized his deep exploration of the development of Taiwan's arts and crafts.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute. Therefore, we specially commissioned Chia-Heng Hsieh to recreate the " Train of Craft Arts ". Using a locomotive to symbolize National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute as a solid foundation for the development of Taiwanese crafts since 1954. Leading the inheritance and development of craftsmanship in various places.
2024 is the premiere year of Craft Pilgrimage. Train of Craft Arts will be touring six cities. Each train carriage represents a city and symbolizing the combination of the power of craft arts. By moving forward with the locomotive, it generates a powerful kinetic energy.
This ceramic steam train is not only a journey, but also a spiritual symbol of Taiwan’s craft arts heritage and future innovation.
