中式圓型餐桌 Chinese-style round dining table

在寓所一樓的餐廳有一張中式圓桌和一張西式長桌。經國先生與家人平日用餐通常使用中式圓桌,到了聖誕節等節日時,全家人就會在西式長桌上一起用餐。經國先生用餐總是坐在圓桌靠近玻璃櫃前的位置,方良女士與他對坐,菜式多是四菜一湯的梅花餐,在口味上,因為先生祖籍浙江奉化,所以以江浙家鄉菜為主,經國先生愛吃的菜有砂鍋魚頭、芋頭鴨、豆瓣酥、油燜筍、醉雞等。 The dining room on the first floor in the Chi-Hai Residence is furnished with a Chinese-style round dining table and a Western-style long table. Chiang Ching-kuo and his family normally ate at the round table, but for holidays such as Christmas they would use the long table. During meals, Chiang Ching-kuo always sat near the glass cabinet, with Faina sitting opposite. Mostly they ate simple meals of four courses and one soup. Being of Zhejiang ancestry, Chiang Ching-kuo mainly ate Zhejiang home cooking. His favorite dishes included fish head casserole, duck with taro, broad-bean cakes, braised bamboo shoots, and chicken in rice wine.
